Experience
I am an experienced tutor who can work with students in a variety of subjects. I'm here to help students with their algebra, elementary math, middle school math, trigonometry, reading, writing, Spanish, English, and a multitude of other subjects. I'd also love to assist any student who needs help preparing for their standardized tests like the SAT or Regents exam. I am currently pursuing my undergraduate degree in Economics at New York University. I have worked with students as a high school math tutor and I've also helped students get ready for their standardized exams like the SAT. At the moment I am serving as a tutor through Jumpstart Corps, a program that offers language and literacy assistance to kids living in low-income communities. I've worked with students on a variety of subjects, however I'm most passionate about teaching mathematics. As a tutor I am responsible for guiding my students to the understanding and answers they need. I provide all of my students with the skills and resources for success. I encourage my students to be as motivated to learn from me as I am to teach them. When I'm not tutoring I enjoy attempting do-it-yourself projects, knitting, crocheting, and other arts and crafts.
