EducationI earned a B.S. in Accounting from NYU’s Stern School of Business, and an M.B.A. in Industrial and
Organizational Psychology from Baruch College at the Zicklin School of Business in New York. My Master’s Thesis was entitled “Women and Leadership in Business”. Finally, I have completed my doctoral course work (33 credits) in the Business Education program at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development, and passed my candidacy exam. I am currently pursuing my second doctorate at CSU in Community College Leadership.
ExperienceAs an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Information Systems at New York University’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS), I have taught and tutored for courses for the adult degree program since 1986 in accounting, finance, business strategy, and information systems. In addition, as a part time Senior Academic Adviser for the Professional Studies Program, I advise adult degree students on their academic and career choices, and on business internships and independent studies in the area of accounting, finance, real estate, and related information system technologies. I am also the faculty adviser for the MIS club. In 1999, I was awarded New York University's Administrative Award for Excellence.
HobbiesMy research interests are in Leadership and Gender Studies with an emphasis on business management. I am an avid film lover, and read extensively. When not working or reading, I exercise and walk to keep fit.
