I currently attend Hunter College, where I am studying for a bachelor's degree in Chinese language and a master's degree in economics. I have also been a tutor/teacher for almost five years. I've taught groups or individuals in a variety of subjects, including calculus, math, economics, SAT math, and many others. I am also proficient at helping students prepare for their standardized exams, including the HSPT, SAT, and the SAT II (Math 1 and 2). Helping to reduce students' fears about the college prep courses by having a plan and definite goals is a talent of mine. I have used my own past experiences to enrich the students' study habits and confidence levels. Enlisting my own personal characteristics, which include a serene demeanor, a clear vision, and a sense of humor, enables me to be an adept tutor. When a student is invested in the process and enjoys it, great strides are made towards their goals. It is easy for me to relate to my students because I love what I do and it shines through when I teach.My hobbies include international travel, from the Far East to a future trip to Africa. I also love dancing, baking, and cooking. I currently reside in New York, New York.
