Education

Binghamton University - BS, Chemistry

Experience

I have a passion for chemistry and math. They are two of my favorite subjects to tutor. I can assist students with their work in a variety of subjects. Some of them include: algebra, geometry, SAT prep, calculus, and chemistry. I have tutored for approximately two years. I have worked in private settings and in group settings. I believe in putting a lot of the weight on my students when I am tutoring them. Their success depends on them and the amount of work they are willing to put in. I believe each student is his or her own individual and will learn at a different pace. I get to know the students personally and then tailor a plan of teaching that will work for them. I am a graduate from Binghamton University, where I received my B.S. in chemistry. I graduated with honors and specifically had a focus on the research aspect of chemistry. Currently, I am busy applying to different chemistry doctoral programs in New York City. I hope to earn my PhD in time. When I am not busy in school or tutoring, I enjoy swimming. I have been involved in competitive swimming for about 10 years now and absolutely love it. I also love cooking, particularly Italian and Chinese dishes.
