Experience

I just recently graduated from Harvard and I am a born teacher. I am anxious to assist you in increasing your skill, building your confidence, and succeeding. I received my bachelor's degree in American History and Literature. I minored in the theater. While in college, I wrote, directed, and produced plays, led tours around Harvard, and wrote my thesis on the criticism of art in 1960s New York. I still write for the theater and I am doing apprentice work with a resident theater group in the Metropolitan Museum. My goal is to earn my Playwriting Master of Fine Arts and my doctorate in American Studies. As a tutor, I tailor my instruction to each individual student. Session with me are fun and encouraging. I am a great tutoring resource for those preparing to take standardized tests such as the PSAT, SAT, or other tests (including AP tests). I also can help with a variety of courses including reading for all grade levels, writing, essay writing and editing for all grade levels, including college, literature, and grammar and mechanics. Also, of course, I can tutor anyone in theater arts, extending out to fiction writing, poetry writing, Shakespeare, and other classes of that type.
