Experience

I strongly  believe that a teacher's job is to instill a passion for learning in their students. Through my own teachings, I can convey to students that learning is more about working hard than it is about having pure talent. My teaching style is to have a dialogue with students. This way, I can help them identify areas where they can improve. I can also become more aware of their learning needs. Then, I will suggest tools that can help them to start learning effectively on their own.Courses that I have tutored include Essay Editing, Phonics, Literature, Grammar and Mechanics, American History, Study Skills and Organization, PSAT Critical Reading, English, Spanish 1, and College Essays. When not tutoring, I like to occupy my time with music.
