Experience

I graduated from USC in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Creative Writing. For the last five years, I have tutored a diverse group of individuals that range from elementary school to college. I have also taught a myriad of classes, which include History, Writing, Literature, Science, English, and Art. Within the past several years, I tutored in Seoul and taught English as a second language. I have also tutored in Los Angeles, both one-on-one, and in groups. When tutoring for the SAT, I emphasize developing essay writing abilities along with critical thinking skills. As a writer, I enjoy helping students develop their writing and reading so as to reach their goals. I also try to create learning environments that encourage my students to stay focused and motivated regardless of the subject matter. When not tutoring, I enjoy reading a good book, or watching an entertaining movie. I also enjoy snowboarding. My tutoring experience includes Writing, Essay Writing, Literature, AP Comparative Government and Politics, Geography, AP United States History, SAT Critical Reading, and Social Studies.
