The learning process is what excites me. While my strength focuses on science-related topics and subjects, I continually work to create new skills and knowledge. My educational background focused on Environmental Science and International Studies. I received a bachelor's degree in these fields from the University of Miami. My teaching and tutoring experience has covered Biology, Anatomy, and Chemistry for high school students. I have also tutored math for college students. Currently I am a freelance writer, so I am able to tutor on writing as well. I believe a well-rounded education is important as is a love for learning. Each student is different, which requires a unique tutoring path for each student. Part of my job as a tutor is to find that perfect path to help each individual become successful in academic endeavors. The other part is sharing my knowledge from my experiences and education and be willing to work with each student and his or her strengths to bring about continual success. My knowledgeable subject areas include math, ACT, PSAT, SAT, and ISEE test prep, writing, biology, chemistry, and general science. In my free time I like to read, play, and watch basketball, and enjoy comedy.
