I am currently studying for my master's degree in Health Administration at the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University and very much enjoying the city with its galleries, coffee shops, and the bustle of daily life. My undergraduate work at the University of California, Davis included concentrated study in the fields of Physiology, Neurobiology, and Behavior, along with Exercise Biology, which was my minor. I also had the opportunity to study early stage and late stage melanoma therapeutics when I managed a program for the disease at the University's branch in San Francisco.Being goal-oriented myself, I found that I am good at helping other students achieve their goals. During the time that I was on the West coast, I tutored students in Math and Science as well as providing educational consultation. I also offer help with preparing college applications, studying for admittance exams, and other post-secondary preparation. I can help students study for an important exam or lead them through the whole process of creating a career plan, by showing them how to make important contacts that will help them succeed in their chosen field. I also like snowboarding and playing basketball and football. I try to balance work and play to stay both mentally and physically healthy.
