EducationCompleted Sophomore year at Brooklyn Technical High School, and will be a Junior in September.
ExperienceI have consistently scored in the 90th percentile or higher on all mandated standardized tests since Elementary School. This includes NYS exams, PSAT's, and citywide standardized, and admissions tests.
I want to tutor, because I often consider being a teacher or professor as a career choice, and would love the opportunity to help a struggling student learn in a fun, and comfortable way.
I have also received high IQ test scores, and consistently good grades throughout my life.
HobbiesI have been involved in athletics since I was 3 years old, and am currently a stand-out wrestler for the Brooklyn Tech Engineers, one of the best wrestling programs in the city. Outside of sports and wrestling I like to keep myself busy with books (non-fiction is my favorite), or with animals (I am a HUGE dog lover). I also take advantage of all the extra-curriculars offered at my school, and have participated in things ranging from the school's fashion and culture shows, to the school's bodybuilding event.
I like to help others and keep busy, and I feel that tutoring a student in need would be a great way to spend a good chunk of my summer.
Also, while I state in my "availability" section that my rates are $25 an hour, I am very flexible and competitive, and am willing to negotiate whatever you think is fair... Contact for more details
