ESL Teacher at KAFSC Korean American Family Service Center. in Flushing, NYC - 2015-2016 I taught ESL and self- empowerment to Korean women who were victims of domestic violence. This was part of a comprehensive self-sufficiency program. Classes taught were Beginner, Intermediate, and English at the Workplace. I was an ESL Teacher for the Move Language Ahead (MLA) summer 2015 program, where we taught English to Italian high school exchange students. Our lessons were tailored to assist the students in enjoying their time in NYC. Classes were at the Brooklyn campus of Long Island University. I presently have private corporate clients and also teach TOEIC, TOEFL, and IELTS test preparation. I was a volunteer tutor of English as a Second Language at the school, The English Lounge, NYC, 2013- 2016. I am presently enrolled in weekly Spanish classes at Instituto Cervantes in NYC. As such, I am actively involved in being a student as well as a teacher.

I get great joy out of helping people learn. I have a warm personality and make my clients laugh. I am intuitive about my individual client's needs. I'm not a clock watcher and will give you 100%+ of my time and interest. I also do not teach in a typical linear fashion. I went to the best schools and don't remember much. I strive to make my lessons meaningful and memorable. I love rock and roll and salsa dancing.
