Beyond the numbers, I feel that my drive to be a successful tutor comes from the fact that I was always good at going to school, not just at being an intelligent human being. Study skills, memorization tricks, an eagerness to learn—all of these came naturally to me, and I would love to share them with students who struggle a little bit more in the classroom. In my experience, I have found that most people have more than enough intelligence to succeed in any field. They simply lack the confidence or the wherewithal to succeed in certain educational environments. It is always my goal to ensure that students are not just learning and reviewing material in my sessions, but also internalizing new methods of and attitudes toward their studies.
HobbiesClassical piano, foreign language study, and more than anything, reading!
I am also an avid traveler. I have been traveling around the world since I was 5 years old, from Bali to Buenos Aires, and it is by far one of the most important pursuits in my life.
