I am a linguistic and cultural liaison between the US/West and China--I've helped Chinese students transition successfully into the US system, as well as helped American executives understand Chinese language and culture. Below are some other accomplishments of mine that give me well-rounded experience to help you or your child: Business experience in China and the US: Worked in China for American Venture Capital firm doing business consulting, produced bilingual slides for Chinese and US clients and firm partners. Was on the founding team of NYC-based, Chinese-facing luxury startup, and produced bilingual photo and written editorial content. Yearly 1-3 month summer trips to China to visit my family--I am familiar with Chinese culture, and know how to communicate with and understand somebody new to the US, from China. ***I typically reply to emails in under 4 hours***

I was born in the US, grew up in Beijing, China, and moved back to southern California for high school, before coming to NYC for college. Throughout college, I still spent about a quarter of the year in China, working, so I have always been culturally very fluid. My hobbies include: Food (eating+cooking+talking about it) People Drawing and design (my original dream was to become a fashion designer--Dad wouldn't fund it, I understand) Traveling and culture Photography (it's work but I still love it) Kids--my younger sister is 9. My favorite person!
