Experience
Hi, I'm Vince, composer turned medical student and for the past four years I have worked as a tutor, lecturer and teaching assistant with students in math and science. I primarily teach high school and college students. I enjoy learning how to tailor my lessons to each student and relating abstract concepts to real life so they are more digestible, more interesting and easier to learn. A parent of a high school student of mine had this to say: "Vince has been great, and Sandy has enjoyed working with him. She actually likes math now! In general I help with problem sets, homework assignments, exam studying, long and short-term study habits, test anxiety and organization of material. I have access to extra study materials on most subjects and can point you in the direction of many resources. I can do group sessions or 1-on-1 and can meet you at home, at a coffee shop or wherever is convenient. Looking forward to helping you boost those math and science grades!

Hobbies
I'm passionate about music and worked as a composer before deciding to switch direction and go into medicine. I love hiking and backpacking and have spent a lot of time getting to know the Adirondacks and Green Mountains over the past three years. I've been known to cook a mean home-made pumpkin ravioli with sage butter sauce.
