In 2011, I graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Brandeis University. There, I received highest honors in neuroscience and biology and a minor in music. Additionally, I received a 3.94 GPA upon graduation and gained membership into the Phi Beta Kappa Honors Society. I am currently a fifth year student at NYU School of Medicine in the MD/PhD Medical Scientist Training Program.
Experience
During my undergraduate education, I worked as a teaching assistant for a biostatistics course, instructing students during recitations and leading review sessions. Additionally, I have performed research for eight years in such areas as neurobiology, translational epilepsy therapeutics, and biochemistry. Furthermore, I have previously worked as an emergency medical technician (EMT) and served on the board of my undergraduate EMT corps. I have also worked as an EMT at a summer camp, where I have instructed on medicine, safety, and health. MCAT Score: 35R In the future, I hope to combine my interests in teaching and translational neuroscience research as a professor and research scientist.
