Education
Greetings! I currently work as the Assistant to the Director in the Center for Global Development at St. John’s University where I also completed my undergraduate studies in French and Italian! I am also a recent graduate of a Master's in Global Development and Social Justice for which I wrote a thesis entitled, 'A Framework for Approaching Female Reproductive Health in Rural Afghanistan.' I am passionate about education, social equity in education, and I plan to stay in the field as a career; pursuing my PhD. I currently volunteer at GEMS (Girls Educational & Mentoring Services) and Greenhope Services for Women and I was a recent Fulbright Scholarship finalist. I am very interested in assisting/tutoring children who have fallen behind in their classes; essentially I can tutor in all subjects apart from math. My other research interests are women’s studies, Middle Eastern studies, and health and development. If you have any question please do not hesitate to contact me as I would be more than happy to discuss further details. Thank you!
