In depth tutoring of geometry, number theory algebra, trigonometry. Insisting on proofs, verbal and writing solutions. Many problems used as a starting point of conversation for various topics, going beyond just the solution, into what we can learn from them. Teaching beyond AMC for interested students in engineering schools. Asking students to self study, understand and use new and advanced topics, learning skills that will be useful in college and work place. Always results oriented, but also conscious of the limits of the AMC, and trying to expand the math horizon of the student in other ways. I am teaching also computer programming, application of programming in math, using C/C++. Learn C/C++, and how to write programs. Learn algorithms, and use of programming languages in math. Examples, number theory, prime numbers, factorization, string processing, equation solving, representation of data (structures), sequences, calculus, numeric methods, graphs, analytic geometry, etc. Lists, queues, trees, sorting, searching methods, etc. I am looking for a couple of more good students willing to study math beyond school work.
