ExperienceI've tutored math and economics for school and college classes, and standardized tests, for the past five years, and taught test-prep classes at Baruch College for four years prior to that.
I really enjoy explaining math, and helping students understand the reasoning and logic of the subject; and when students grasp that logic, they're able to solve any problems that come up, and aren't relying on memorization alone to answer questions. With practice anyone can greatly improve their understanding of math and ability to solve questions, and hence their grade or score on standardized tests.
I got perfect scores on the SAT, GRE and GMAT math sections, and can show you how to break down and analyze the questions so you can solve them too. What's important is to understand the reasoning process by which you can take the information you're given, and connect it in a step-by-step way to the answer the question's asking for...
HobbiesI've always loved sports, especially tennis and basketball (playing and watching :)), and also love music of all kinds, movies, TV shows like the Sopranos and The Wire, as well as Charlie Rose and the Daily Show, and both fiction and non-fiction books...
