Experience
I have significant experience teaching high school students, as I volunteer for an organization called Peer Health Exchange, which aims to teach health programs in high schools that cannot afford their own. SAT scores: 700 Math, 750 Writing, 710 Reading AP classes completed: Calculus AB, Calculus BC, French, US History, English I love teaching and working with younger students. I never get impatient and I am very good at finding new and creative ways to explain myself. I am very organized and I understand firsthand the difficulties of adopting productive study skills, so I am happy to help students find ways to better manage their time. I believe that tutoring is an incredibly rewarding experience, and I will try to impart my enthusiasm to learning to every student I meet. Previous jobs: I worked in my freshman year of college as a research assistant for Graciela Chichilnisky, an esteemed Economics professor at Columbia University and architect of the Kyoto Protocol. In High School I worked for three years at Wilbur's of Maine, a locally owned chocolate and candy store.

Hobbies
I love being outdoors--particularly hiking, biking, skiing, and kayaking. I'm equally in love with the city (I left my hometown on the coast of Maine for it) and my favorite weekend activity is finding new, fun ways to take advantage of all New York has to offer. One of my favorite hobbies is singing, both on my own and in choir. I was an avid figure skater throughout high school--I have unfortunately lost the time for it in college, but I still love to watch and occasionally take a trip to Bryant park to skate. I'm also a big baseball fan and I'm obsessed with classic literature.
