Experience
For the past three years, I've tutored students both in middle school and high school in NYC. During this time, I've tutored Algebra, Geometry, English, History, Humanities, French, and worked with students with learning disabilities as well as ELLs. I want to be a tutor because I genuinely enjoy working with students and helping them understand material better. In my three years as a tutor, I've found the experience to be the most gratifying of any job I've had, and, as such, I'd like to have an opportunity to gain more experience in a different setting and with different children. As a Classics major, my focus is mostly on writing and analyzing texts; however, with my experience in the public school systems, I've been exposed to other subjects and have also helped with Regents prep.

Hobbies
In my free time I like taking advantage everything New York has to offer. I like checking out new museum exhibits and finding new restaurants (the East Village is great for that!) I also like reading anything from classical literature to beach reads, and I like watching the occasional crime drama.
