#### Education

I graduated from New York University with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics.#### Experience

Education should not be a mundane experience; it should allow people to use their skills and creativity to become innovative. It is for this reason that I teach students to develop an understanding of concepts--rather than dictate information--and identify ways to apply this knowledge for practical purposes. My style incorporates critical thinking exercises and real-world examples to explain core concepts.I have worked in several teaching roles (e.g. tutor, teaching assistant, instructor) and taught many students, from grade school through college, that possess diverse academic needs and aptitudes. My specialties are in the fields of mathematics and physics, for which I have over seven years teaching experience. Several of the students I work with make substantial improvements in their course grades and standardized exams within a short time frame.

My goal is to provide students with an engaging and enriched learning experience. I look forward to the opportunity to help new students reach their academic potential.

#### Hobbies

My interests are broad and many. They include, but are not limited to; music, photography, fencing, poetry, jogging, graphic design, and volunteer work.#### Preferred Subjects

Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, Probability, Physics, SAT, SAT II - Math Lvl. 1, SAT II - Math Lvl. 2, SAT II - Physics
