EducationI am a sophomore at New York University majoring in Biochemistry. My current overall GPA is 3.872 and science GPA is 3.933.
ExperienceI am a New York University undergrad pursuing the pre-med track and biochemistry major. My passion lies in the math and sciences. I love tutoring these subjects because they are very rewarding to teach. I feel great joy when a student finally comprehends a concept which just recently seemed abstract. My approach in tutoring is to try to view the material in the point of view of my students because I acknowledge that people might easily understand certain aspects of a topic while having difficulty on other parts. This provides a partial understanding and results in the student being able to easily solve some questions about that topic while fumbling on others. Therefore, in order to clarify an idea which is difficult for a particular student to grasp, I listen to feedback and questions from my student in order to better understand his or her point of view. Consequently, I adjust to my student's needs by explaining something in a unique matter so that it make sense. My past tutoring experience includes both volunteer tutoring and private home tutoring. The subjects which I have tutored in the past include calculus, biology, physics, chemistry, algebra, earth science, and geometry. My number one priority is always the success of my students so they can both understand the concept and also solve questions in which they must apply that concept.
HobbiesMy favorite activity is playing tennis. I play almost everyday with my younger brother. Other sports I play often include basketball and table tennis. My hobbies are reading and playing video games.
